of the Episcopal Seminary
of Padua

The Historical Archive of the Episcopal Seminary of Padua houses various fonds in the Ancient Section of the Library, containing documents from the 16th to the 20th century (including administrative, scholastic, library, typography documents, and correspondence).

Thanks to a grant received from the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo (Project “Libraries and Historical Archives 2013”), the Historical Archive underwent an arrangement and partial inventory process between 2014 and 2015, edited by Chiara Traverso:

There is also a brief description (edited by Giancarlo Gambasin) of a fund consisting of an ordered series of envelopes (001-0084), which contain documents from around 1750 to the beginning of the 20th century.
