The Library holds 10,336 books from the 16th century and 14,484 from the 17th century, which were cataloged and entered into the National Bibliographic Service (SBN) between 2001 and 2009. This was made possible through an agreement with the University of Padua’s Center for Libraries and with the financial contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation of Padua and Rovigo. The computerized catalog also includes volumes from the 19th century, while cataloging of the 18th-century books is currently in progress.

The cataloging of ancient books was planned and coordinated by Dr. Luisa Buson from the Center for Libraries.

  • CATALOG (OPAC of the Padovan Library System)

For the search of documents not yet included in the computerized catalog (miscellanies, issues, etc.), it is possible to refer to the digitized records in the collective catalog of the libraries of Padua (up to 1968).

In the Library, paper card catalogs and the six manuscript volumes containing the catalog of printed books, compiled by Andrea Coi in the early decades of the 19th century, are still available for consultation for specific research.
